Oradian partner Agribusiness Rural Bank, Inc. (Agribank), one of the most established and trusted rural banks in the Philippines, has been named one of the Philippines’ best employers of 2023.
Agribank was the only rural bank to make the list of around 300 employers from across the country, assembled by the Philippine Daily Inquirer in partnership with Statista. The bank claimed seventeenth spot in the Banking & Financial Services category.
Danny Boy Antonio, President of Agribusiness Rural Bank said: “It’s amazing to see how far we’ve gone. The pandemic brought a lot of innovations for Agribank and after years of enhancements it finally paved the way for us to be where we are now. This recognition is a testimony of us breaking barriers- not just in services but also in the well-being of our employees. Things are only bound to get bigger and better for Agribank.”
Antonio revealed that during the pandemic, Agribank moved to a digital management system to upgrade the bank’s operational works through cloud-based in-house systems. This improved the efficiency of employees from the executive down to the rank-and-file.
In addition, Agribank has successfully used Oradian’s cloud-native core banking system to more easily access and manage reports and data.
Lea Yamballa, Chief Revenue Officer of Agribusiness Rural Bank, concluded: “More than securing our relationship with our clients and partners, we always put our employees’ safety and satisfaction at the top priority, as they are our first line of defense in marketing our products and services. The success of this award goes to all the hardworking Agribankers who continuously improve and serve their duties the best way possible.”
